Job Summary:

The Account Executive serves as the primary point of contact, responsible for managing a designated Book of Business. You will Coordinate Service, Account Remarkets, Claims Communications, Administration and provide consultative guidance for your assigned accounts. Client Retention and Satisfaction are key objectives of this role.

Essential Functions/ Primary Responsibilities

  • Exhibit superior customer service traits at all times: Accommodate client requests, meet all servicing needs & exceed expectations when performing Certificates & Change requests, Claims, Marketing, and Account Rounding
  • Communicate with carriers/underwriting/producers regarding renewals, audits, carrier recommendations, and quote negotiation on existing accounts
  • Thoroughly review policies and endorsements for accuracy; Perform thorough analysis of policy renewals to identify coverage gaps and account rounding opportunities
  • Process endorsements and review certificate needs to ensure the proper coverage is in place
  • Coordinate Re-marketing of Accounts: Gather and compile exposure information from the Client & Carriers
  • Develop proficiency in Real Time technology, quoting in multiple carrier web-sites during the remarketing process or when adding additional lines of coverage
  • Actively follow the Agency Workflow in the APPLIED client management system

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Commercial Lines Account Executive/CSR with demonstrated success in this or a similar role; Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing business accounts
  • Active Property & Casualty Producer License
  • Must possess a solid understanding of & the ability to clearly articulate Insurance Industry Standards, Policies, and Procedures

As we continue to grow, we need team members who are dedicated, flexible, have attention to detail, and are eager to learn.

Job Summary:

Assist Accounting Department in day-to-day bookkeeping for Synapse’s company books. Including Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Account Reconciliations. Maintain monthly reconciliation for American Express. Create and maintain accounting Folders/ Files. Strong communications skills, both written and verbal are a Must. This position regularly communicates with internal professionals as well as our clients. Candidate must have the ability to problem solve, work independently, and as a part of a larger team.

 

Qualifications:

Associates in accounting, plus experience.

Bachelor’s in accounting

Ideal candidate would have 5 plus years’ accounting/ bookkeeping experience, and one – two years insurance related accounting experience.

 

Essential Functions/ Primary Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable – Post checks and Wires received into various accounting software.
  • Collections- Email follow – when payment will be accepted.
  • Accounts Payable – Prepare daily ACH’s/ and or checks to carriers/outside vendors. Request bills when needed. Post bills as they come into to appropriate company.
  • Daily ACH payments and Bank deposits.
  • Invoicing- using specialized insurance software, data enter and check necessary fields for accuracy for policy billing purposes.
  • Assist with Weekly/Monthly bank reconciliations for review.
  • Reconcile monthly American Express transactions and employee reimbursable expenses for review.
  • Special Projects- from time to time and at management request, special projects will be needed, examples would include but are not limited to vendor reviews, financials, admin support and organization.

The Associate Account Manager works as an integral part of the Marketing Team to enhance client relationships and service while focusing on the clients’ daily needs. You will coordinate service, account renewal marketing, claims communications, administration and provide consultative guidance for your assigned accounts, as applicable, with assistance from Synapse Producer and/or other Marketing deal team members. Understand and promote agency initiatives; to contribute to and enhance the agency’s reputation in all actions.

 

Essential Functions/ Primary Responsibilities

  • Always exhibit superior customer service traits: Accommodate client requests, facilitate servicing needs & exceed expectations across all brokering-related responsibilities.
  • Communicate with carriers/underwriting/producers and brokers regarding renewals, audits, carrier recommendations, and quote negotiation on existing and new business and renewal accounts with assistance from Synapse Producer and/or Reporting Manager.
  • Facilitate loss run requests with carriers as needed.
  • Facility re-marketing of accounts: Gather, review and organize exposure information from the client & carriers for discussion with Synapse Producer and/or Marketing deal-team members. This includes but is not limited to:
    o General application information
    o Creating deal cover sheets for underwriting
    o Location schedules
    o Tank schedules
    o Auto schedules
    o Payroll, TIV or Revenue details
    o Environmental reports
  • Assist Producers and other Marketing deal-team members by benchmarking rates for applicable product line/Class of Business and saving applicable information in the Y drive.
  • Review quotes and binders for accuracy when received from carrier and supply all supporting endorsements, applications and other supplementals where applicable.
  • Assist with Weekly/Monthly bank reconciliations for review.
  • Generate coverage comparisons and quote proposals when applicable.
  • Verify policy file organization and documentation according to internal file audit procedures 4.1.24.
  • Respond to clients’ needs by producing appropriate paperwork within timeframes outlined in procedures.
  • Review, verify and initiate policy changes independently and manage completion timeline to maintain filing compliance where applicable.
  • Assist the accounting team in collecting premiums and commissions from agents, as needed.
  • Assist the Compliance team in collecting outstanding documentation necessary to correctly file State taxes and fees and meet the corresponding deadlines.
  • Works independently recognizing and utilizing available resources and technology.
  • Review policy, endorsement, or audit discrepancy forms, proactively order any necessary corrections from carrier and ensure documents are sent to client on a timely basis.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of both electronic and non-electronic data.
  • Must adhere to pertinent laws, regulations, Synapse’s Compliance Policy, and external compliance requirements.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Property & Casualty license is required within six months of hire date.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance markets, rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and service assigned client and prospect.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume position, deliver timely and accurate work products with a sense of urgency as required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, high level of emotional intelligence, and exceptional communication skills.
  • Goal and detail oriented: sense of urgency and ability to meet client and producer expectations through well executed time management skills.
  • Ability to utilize computer and understand functionality. Consistently increasing knowledge of available technology and amending work patterns to maximize efficiency.
  • Knowledge and ability to perform technical tasks to expedite client service using critical thinking and analytical skills where applicable.

  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license or have transportation available when needed to be able to leave for calls, meetings and/or visits.
